WHY WE STARTED ?
India's education system still views quality education as a privilege rather than a basic human right.
Numerous students, especially those belonging to the marginalized sections of society and low-income families, are struggling to cope with the school subjects simply because they are not provided with proper academic support.
The large number of students in a class, less individual attention, and poor learning materials are often the reasons for their setbacks and, therefore, lack of confidence.
Moreover, students very seldom get to learn skills-based subjects such as reasoning, aptitude, or analytical thinking, which are very important for passing competitive examinations and also for future careers.
Being aware of all these problems, Gyan Elevate Education India Foundation started Skillians, a project that aims at connecting school learning with real-world readiness.
The project was conceived with a dream to transform education into an avenue of inclusivity, interactivity, and skilling for each and every learner.'
What We Do ?
Skillians is a comprehensive education and skill-building program that combines weekend specialized learning sessions with regular academic instruction.
With this program, we give schoolchildren regular academic support all week long, ensuring that they improve their understanding of fundamental subjects like science, math, and English.
We help students get ready for Olympiads, entrance exams, and logical problem-solving by providing specialized sessions on math aptitude and reasoning questions on the weekends.
Our goal is to enable students to think critically, reason analytically, and develop self-assurance in all facets of life, not just to perform better on tests. At our NGO center, every lesson is planned to be dynamic, captivating, and focused on the needs of the students, making learning an enjoyable and inspiring process.
